Our featured eco-industrial park is ReVenture Park, on the shores of the Catawba River in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. Co-located on this recycled, reused Superfund site, will be new waste-to-energy power generating, a municipal waste water treatment plant, biofuels processing, solar arrays and indoor composting, to name just a few of the co-located industries that will close the ecological loops on waste, water and energy.
